You may be nervous, but you are not alone.

Our team are gentle, calm and professionally trained to guide you through your treatment, with minimal intervention and maximum care. We are with you every step of the way.

We appreciate what it is like to be a nervous patient. We have seen a number of patients from all lifestyles, who feel nervous about various stages. That initial consultation, the first meeting, or even the run up to the surgery itself. Your health is important and it is understandable that people feel anxious about surgery, and hospitals. We welcome nervous and anxious patients and we recommend you see us many times, if indeed, to make sure you are happy and satisfied.

We are happy to offer longer appointment slots for anyone who would like more time and multiple treatments. Our aim is to offer patient-focussed team care, without judgement, and at a pace chosen by you.

Anxiety also becomes a problem if it makes it harder to understand and remember important things you are told about the operation, such as advice about how to prepare for it or about recovering afterwards. We ensure our team talk through this important information carefully, slowly, and more than once if needed.
Our team will also recommend relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises; meditation or muscle relaxation, which they know, can be helpful.

We are here for you every step of the way.
