breast reduction

Breast reduction (mammoplasty) can provide a life-changing reduction in the weight and volume, shape, and size of your breasts.

We regularly meet ladies who have coped with larger sized breasts which have not only caused low self-esteem and low body confidence but, in many cases, also lots of pain and discomfort too.

The size of your breasts ideally should make you feel comfortable and be proportionate to your body frame. Occasionally bigger breasts, which have outgrown the frame, can cause bad posture, backache, neck pain and can be difficult to live with.

Our highly experienced surgeons can perform Breast Reduction surgeries that decrease the size of the breasts, which may have been causing a droopy look or general discomfort, enabling you to achieve a more firm and natural appearance; REAL results that you’ve always desired.

We believe Red Rose Desire provides the most patient-focused cosmetic surgery, offering a wide variety of breast procedures, such as breast reduction surgery, breast uplifts, and breast enlargement surgery.

BEFORE AND AFTER SHOTS OF BREAST REDUCTION

These photographs represent typical results from past patients. They will give you an idea of our work but, as with all surgeries, please be aware that every person’s shape, size, skin and healing ability is different; meaning every individual will have different results, even if having the same surgery.

breast reduction at Red Rose Desire

Breast Reduction can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on the level of reduction involved. Your surgeon will make incisions in the breast to begin removing excess skin, tissue and fat before reshaping to create a firmer, more elevated look. Similar to the Breast Uplift, the nipple will be repositioned accordingly and the areola may be reduced in size to reflect a more natural appearance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Will I have to stay overnight?
A:
During your consultation, our team will discuss your suitability and personal wishes, you may be able to return home sooner than others, as many of our patients prefer, or if you select, or you can choose to stay for more nights with full care provided.
Each option is more than possible, and as always, tailored to you.

Q: Am I too old for the surgery?
A:
Many women in their 40s and 50s have undergone breast surgery with good results. The most common patient for this surgery is a woman in her 30s with two children who has been considering this operation for many years. Whatever your stage in life, we encourage you to schedule a consultation to find the best path toward your cosmetic goals.

Q: How do I choose my new size, how much smaller can I go?
A:
This is often one of the most difficult decisions, and has to come from you. We encourage you to look at sizes of bras you feel work, and of course, your surgeon will assist you with this during your consultation, whilst also examining you and discussing achievable results.

Q: What is my recovery time?
A: Every patient is different and you can be sure that your nurse is on hand to help you through your recovery, for as long as it takes.  Expect to take time off work, up to 14 days to rest, perhaps you may need some help during the first days too. You will be provided with full detailed information about your surgery, and aftercare and your nurse will be available on call should you require.
