Timing is of course always down to you. We see a number of patients who know from a very young age that they are not confident with a particular area of their body despite perhaps, achieving fantastic weight loss results, growing older with age, or even sculpting through other non-evasive techniques.

When is the best time for breast surgery

One of the most popular is breast surgery. Breast implant surgery is the only way to increase the size of your breast, and can be carried out with a breast implant and using fat transfer.

It can be carried out on its own or alongside breast uplift surgery depending on your desired look.
All surgery is unique to you and your body. To get the most out of your surgery, we advise to you come along and meet the breast specialist surgeons, that way you can speak to them about your journey and your hopes and fears.

Consider Recovery Time

Opt for a time that you know you can take some down time and rest up. Breast augmentation recovery usually takes around 4 to 8 weeks, and you will need some support if you have children or a physical job role. We will provide you with a full aftercare plan and your own personal nurse, who is contactable at all times.
To ensure a smooth recovery, follow your surgeon’s advice and always wear a supportive recovery bra.

Consider Seasonality

For some, the cooler months are less active and patients are able to take holidays or time away from work to rest and recover. For other patients, summer is preferable, as it allows them to be outdoors, keeping mobile with fresh air during rest and recovery.
This is up to the individual, but is an important consideration when choosing the right time for surgery.

Consider a complimentary consultation

Our surgeons can talk you through the procedure, your aftercare and expected results during this complimentary consultation.
